We See A Church . . .
. . . composed of small groups where fellowship, prayer, and the study of God’s word change lives.

Small groups are the primary discipling vehicle, that is that they move us from where we are to where we God wants us to be. Jesus utilized the small group. Although Jesus preached to the crowds, He chose twelve to whom He gave special attention.

And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, (Mark 3:13-14 NKJV)

The early church also met house to house.

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:46-47 NKJV)

Stephen Ministry

Sometimes it takes more than a parka or a blanket to keep another person warm. Sometimes it takes the presence of a caring Christian friend. Mesa First has a team of Stephen Ministers who understand that they are care givers and it is God that is the cure giver! Stephen Ministers share the warmth of God’s love with those who are experiencing life changes, transitions or crisis. Requests for a Stephen Minister may be made by contacting the Church office, by phone at 480-964-5062 or email at office@mesanaz.org.
